Realistic, Distortorts or Alteration?

      Realistic art the accurate and apparently objective description of the ordinary, observable world, a change especially evident in painting. Sets as a goal not imitating past artistic achievements but the truthful and accurate depiction of the models that nature and contemporary life offer to the artist. Realism in relation to art is when the subject of the artist is shown in a realistic manner, as close to 'reality' as possible - the way the subject actually looked. Realist artists chose subjects from everyday life around them. Often we see in their paintings images of some the poorer members of society. Before this, such subjects had been deliberately overlooked by many artists. That is the meaning of realistic art according what I have researched.

     I chose Realistic art because I find it interesting. Even thou it is black and white I find it attractive. And for all the arts that I have seen realistic art is my most favorite and I really want to create an art which is realistic art. I'm envy of my classmates who are very good in this type of art that's why I pushed myself to do my best to create an art like that. Distorted Art are also beautiful. I am the type of person who loves colorful I hate plain. Like the distorted art it is colorful, and besides it has many shapes. If you focused on the painting or art you can see the meaning of the painting.

     All arts are beautiful. Realistic art is very hard that's why it gives me a challenge. And as an multimedia artists I promise to myself that I'll be successful in creating realistic art. But not just realistic art but all of the art. I will practice all of them one by one. I'll start from the basic first for me to make it, because if I started in the hard way I might not become a successful one in creating different kinds of arts. that's why we are studying first the basic because in art we need to know first the details why we are using that we need to answer first the questions in our mind before starting.

Art in action..

     Last Thursday November 29, 2012, PRISAA was held in Lyceum of the Philippines - Laguna. I thought that it was just a simple game of different school that is going to held in school but then I have just realized it when our professor told us to go to the gym of the school and there I saw on stage the tarpaulin of PRISAA. When I noticed it for me it was exciting because I love watching games even thou sports doesn't suit me. Our professor told us to go to the gym, at first I thought that we are just going to watch the game, then later on she asks us to draw on our sketch pad on what is happening in the PRISAA. I chose to draw one of the member of the soccer team even thou it was not held in the gym.

     When I was thinking on what am I gonna draw in my sketch pad something flashed on my mind saying that how can I draw art in action? I'm not that practiced in sketching a human so what I did is I used the technique that Mr. Charlie (our professor in basic and Technical Drawing) told us to do in sketching, this is the easiest way to draw a human what am I saying is the shapes, sphere, cone and many more when you used that in parts of the body of the person and it's position you can easily add the other details like hair, hands, clothes etc. So when I used it I looked for one soccer player and watched his moves while watching I'm using the technique of what our professor told us then I put the details on it and add the backgrounds.

     In creating art in action for me it was really difficult because you need to focus in the movements of the person but not just the person you can use different models in doing art in action. What I can see in my drawing is it looks like an anime. While doing this art I felt more excited on the next activity that we are going to draw and I'll do my best to create a more beautiful art. As time goes by Art will always be in my mind. Because art is in my heart already. I love what am I doing and I'll finished this with my whole heart in it. During my elementary days our teacher already told me that I have creativity and that time I got more and more interested in arts. Because ART is EXPRESSING yourself.

Most Influential Era of Arts and Design...

    THE BYZANTINE AND MEDIEVAL ART

      I chose the Byzantine and Medieval Art as the most influential era of art and design. First is the Medieval art of the Western world , over 1000 years of art in Europe, and at times the Middle East and North Africa. The Medieval art was produced in many media, and the works that remain in large numbers include sculpture, illuminated manuscripts, stained glass, metalwork and mosaics. Then the Byzantine art is the artistic products of the Eastern Roman, or Byzantine, Empire, as well as the nations and states that inherited culturally from the empire.

      I  chose this as the most influential era of arts and design simply because this paintings or art is born for to remind about Jesus, Saints and Apostles, which where ever church we go we can see this type of art. And we all know that in every corner of the world we can feel Jesus Christ, even thou we have different God in each corner of the world still we can remember him, see him because of all the God's that we are praising we have only ONE GOD. And this art which is Byzantine and Medieval art reminds us of him.

     That's why this is the most influential era of arts and design. Besides this painting are really beautiful. I also wanted to learn on how to create this kind of art. Whenever I see this in the church I feel relaxed and I enjoy watching this. And as you can see all churches have this in their roofs, door, chairs and walls. Just like what I have said Byzantine and Medieval art is born to remind about Jesus Christ.

Lisa del Giocondo

     Who is Mona Lisa? Does she really exist? What is the mystery of her painting? What is the secret behind her smile? 

      Mona Lisa is painted by Leonardo da Vinci. According to my research Mona Lisa comes from the Italian word "Ma donna" which means My Lady. Mona is the short term for ma donna. Therefore the title is Mona Lisa. And "Ma donna" in english means "Madam". So, title simply means Madam Lisa. The real name of the person in the painting is Lisa del Giocondo she was a member of Gherardini family of Florence and Tuscany and she is the wife of wealthy Florentine silk merchant Francesco del Giocondo. It says that this painting is commissioned for their new home and a celebration for their second son and it;s says that the couple never receive the painting because Da Vinci is not satisfied of its outcome. But then that painting become famous with the people with different interpretation in the painting, the manner in which it was painted and because of Da Vinci being unique and having creative mind. 

          People has many different interpretation about Mona Lisa's painting. The interpretation is left up to the viewer as to what the woman is trying to convey. Some says that Mona Lisa's smile is a mysterious semi-smile and her eyes says that she has a secret. Mona Lisa's hands, her right hand resting on her left hand it says Da Vinci chooses this gesture than wedding ring because Mona Lisa is a virtuous woman and also a faithful wife. It also says that the eyes of Mona Lisa's painting has the secret code, In the right eye the letter LV where found which could mean Da Vinci's name and in the left eye symbols where seen which is difficult to understand the letters are : C, E or B. And they also found the figure 72 or an L and a 2 in the background. Researchers from Italy found those secret code by using magnifying glass they also says that by looking on the painting without using anything just your yes cannot see those secret codes.

       Another thought is that it is the feminine version of Da Vinci. Digital analysis has revealed that Da Vinci's facial characteristics and those of the woman in the painting are almost perfectly aligned with one another. There are many mysteries or thoughts in that painting. When you don't know how to investigate a painting you will not notice those mysteries. Another one is one researcher says that the expression of Mona Lisa is changing. And later on she realized whats happening on the painting, and says that our peripheral vision sees blurry images while the central vision sees fine detail. When she made the face blurred with a filter, the Mona Lisa looked as if she's wearing a cheerful smile but homing in on the fine detail gave her a more demure expression. and realized that Da Vinci achieved an unusuall effect the Mona Lisa's smile changes on how you will look at the painting.

WEEK 10: Inventiveness

What are the things that we have to do to enhance our creativeness? All of us has our own creativeness but not all of us are using it some doesn't discover it yet but others are doing their best to improve their creativeness. There are many ways on how we can enhance our creativeness: First, Research any and every topic you have an interest in. this step is really a big help for us because it can teach us many things that we doesn't now. Second, ask help for the professionals they can teach us, they can help us to improve our weaknesses. Third, we have to have wide imagination. Fourth, avoid thinking of creation if we are stressed because it can't help us to think a very creative work if we are stressed so we have to be relaxed. Fifth, practice, practice is the best way to improve our creativeness. For me, I don't believe if others say that I'm not creative, I know all of us has our own styles, even thou you are not good in drawing you can still use you creativeness in other way.

All of us are creative we can practice if are not good at it. Before I forgot, this is another important thing to enhance our creativity is to be CURIOUS. If we are curious we do our best to discover what's with it. and MISTAKES helps us to improve our self if we made our mistakes don't give up instead tell yourself to do more better than that. WEEK 9: All about Sharing..

Blogging? What is this all about? Is this Important? To be honest I'm not interested with blogging because for me it was pretty boring, I don't even know what is it before, when my sister was creating her blog I told her, what was that all about? that's boring, She answers me no this is not boring. Then when I started using Blogspot and posted different topics, I started to understand what is blogging and its effects. Well all I understand from now is that blogging helps us to lessen our problems because through blogging we can post there what is inside of us and ask an advices to different people but then in blogging we also have limitations on what are we going to put in our blogs we have to think also the message of our posts if it is good or bad to other people. Blogging also helps us to be more fluent in speaking in English :) Blogging helps us also to socialize with other people. Through blogging other people can see who we really are and on what kind of our background is we belong. That's why blogging has limitations and we also still need to have our own privacy.

 Well for me blogging is all about sharing , and new generation is already engaged with this, not only blogging but also the other types of social networks, you can understand the importance of this if you are open-minded because other people doesn't understand what's with this blogging our the message of the blogger . And as a blogger we have to know our limitations and before I forgot blogging is not about making other people impress but to express yourself. THANK YOU and GOD BLESS US ALL ♥

WEEK 8: New Media

What is the effect of New Media? New Media really change our lives or should I say our daily living. Today all of us are now using internet, some of us spend 24 hours in front of the computer. But how can they spend 24 hours in front of the computer? because using internet we can connect with our friends we can also see them through the use of internet , we can make friends, socialize with other people, and with the use of internet we can discover something new it helps us to have wider knowledge. Using internet has good and bad advantages. Good advantages it helps us to make our work more easier, it helps us to socialize with other people and help us to discover something new or something that we don't know. Bad advantage it makes us lazy. For me, internet is really a big help and it helps me to fight for being bored because internet gives me enjoyment and relaxation.

Using the New Media we can gather different kind of information, we can also express our feelings through the use of new media. and with the use of new media we can communicate with other people through the use of mobile. and we can use new media for the photo sharing, etc. New media has good and bad effects. WEEK 7: RAINY RAINY RAINY DAY! ^_^

What to do on rainy day?? Most of us says that rainy day is boring very very boring, but I think It's true but there are times that I do love rainy days because all I did during rainy day is sleeping, eating and surfing the net sometimes but more on sleeping because the weather is cold. And there are times also that I just listen to music because the sound of the rain is irritating sometimes. and I think there's one time that I do study or read books when it's raining and I do clean whatever I saw dirty haha!! that was the effect of raining on me it makes me crazy and there are times that I look every drops of the rain. and I do help my mother when she's cooking even thou I don't know how to cook -_-" sad to say but it's true but then I wanted to learn how to cook because my mother and father are very good in cooking and then I do watched television . you have seen or read that I don't mention the internet that much it's because when it's raining our connection is very slow that's why I choose not to use the internet because it will just make me mad. :)) and I do texting also even thou there are times that there's no SIGNAL -_-

I remember my childhood days when it's raining I felt really sad because I cannot be able to go out to play with my friends so I asked my mother if  I can play with the rain that time I felt really happy and I really enjoyed the rain but now at my age I do hate to get wet in the rain and I never go out when it's raining because my feet might get wet and my shoes also and my hair will get messed that's why when it's raining I choose to stay at home and do whatever I like :)) and then I tried to search if what do they do when it's raining it says that you can play board games, recognize something, make a planner, look for your new hobby, cook, make a new recipe, etc. After I look for that in the Google I have noticed that there are so many things that we can do when it's rainy day but then we choose to make ourselves to be lazy and get bored.

WEEK 6: INTERNET is a Supeerr HIGHWAY??

Internet many people says that they can't live without internet, but i think it's better if we say that we can't live without electricity but that's not our topic for today. What comes to your mind when you hear the word Internet? Some answers FACEBOOK, Many of us are using this for self enjoyment or for relaxation. But then what is really the meaning or history and the use of internet? According to what I have researched Internet carries an extensive range of information resources and services, such as the inter-linked hypertext documents of the World Wide Web (WWW) and the infrastructure to support email. The Internet has no centralized governance in either technological implementation or policies for access and usage; each constituent network sets its own standards. For my own opinion the importance of internet is it help us to make our work easier and it helps us to socialize or make friends with other people.

Internet super highway, well internet also called Highway, but before that what comes to your mind when you hear the word highway? maybe the first thing will come to your mind is the ROAD, right? well internet is also called super highway because internet has many connection, and used for the rapid transfer of sound and video and graphics in digital form. Imagine the wires or the connection of router and connect as many computer , we can see that it looks like a road. Internet is very popular most especially to us the Filipinos. We keep on blogging, watching YouTube, socializing through Facebook, sending E-mails, and using Skype.

WEEK 5: My beloved MMA family

Now I have realized that being an MMA is really fun, I don't care about the bad grapevines about MMA, the important is I am happy of what am I doing, Multimedia arts is not easy. During our G.A - General Assembly all the multimedia arts students from 1-1, 2-1 to 3-1 are settled. So we really looks like a big happy family, general assembly really helps me to know more about multimedia arts, on what should we do to make our work more creatively, to help one another not individually and Miss. A our beloved mommy shared her experiences on teaching the first batch of multimedia arts.

And our elder brother's and sister's shared their most memorable day and their most unforgettable achievements they also gave us some advice which is really a big help for us to be successful on our studies and in taking multimedia arts. We also have the class picture and batch picture only MMA students have that because we are special and unique. While I was listening to their experiences I got excited, because I wanted also to achieve what they have achieve and do more greatly, I got inspired by their achievements and I promise to myself that I will never leave MULTIMEDIA ARTS. Being part of MMA family is really happy, and we can learn many good things coming from them and build an unforgettable moments. I LOVE CAS and I LOVE MMA.

WEEK 4: Collaboration

What is TEAMWORK?? for me team work is really a big help for a group without teamwork there's no good work. Teamwork is the one who helps us to make our work creatively, and it also help us to have a strong relationship with the members of the team, teamwork also looks like a family because if your team understands the feelings of each other your relationship with one another is like a family because you decide for the whole not only for your self. Teamwork is about helping, teaching, making friends, etc. and in teamwork if one got a mistake all of your team will suffer or accept the mistake. That's why for me having a teamwork is really important, because it helps us to have more beautiful presentations, but in team work we must all participate and help the leaders to do the tasks that is given to us. and we must know that in deciding all the members should accept the decision for us to the project creatively and unique.

WEEK 3: The technology changed the communication???

How has Communication change by the technology? In my own opinion technology is really a big change in communication because using technologies we can already communicate or socialize with another people, even thou they are in America, Japan, Europe, Paris etc. Not like the old version of communicating, I have researched the history of communication and I have found out that if you have a message to be send to another people you have to travel just to send your message, they also used the pigeons to send their message to another person, they also used body languages. Not like today's generation we just have to sit in front of our computer and send emails, chat to send our messages to another person and socialize with them. We can also use our cellphones to text or call another person. Technology is really a Big Big help for us, it makes our work easier and faster but some people use it as hobby because of that they become lazy and robots like what miss A told us.

When we have time traveled in the past i think we can't survived because there's no cellphones, Internets, Ipod, Tab etc.

WEEK 2: Why Communicate?

Why Communicate? 

 Can you imagine a place or a country without communication? Do you think we can have friends? Businesses? We communicate because we are sharing our ideas to other people, we are sharing stories, sharing grapevines :)), sharing emotions, feelings and communicating is showing also LOVE, HATRED etc. Communicating is expressing yourself, like what i have said before it's about showing your emotions and feelings, in communication you can tell or show to the other people that you are afraid, happy, sad, excited, nervous, angry, inlove, hurt and many more feelings. 

Communicating is important because without communication, there is no way to express thoughts, ideas and feelings. There are many ways to provide communication from the organization to the people of your community. Whether through a phone, email, letter, website, social networking websites (facebook, twitter, myspace) and many more. The ability and the importance of communication become much more crucial when you are on a mission or need to fulfill a goal. Without a means to communicate, your organization will become isolated. The ability to effectively communicate is very important when it is usually underestimated and overlooked. This are the importance of communicating for me. Till next time!!

WEEK 1: The Beggining

Hi there! I am Avon Camile S. Isleta an MMA student at Lyceum.

     The next chapter of my life has already begun and it was interesting and challenging. CAS, I am one of the member of CAS Department because I am an MMA student being an MMA student is really challenging the other people says that, that course is nothing compared to the other courses but I don't believe them MMA is a beautiful course it enhance us to be good in speaking, editing etc. and all courses are difficult. CAS is fun because it can teach us to be a better person like building self-confidence, and many more Besides without multimedia arts world is BORING! Can you imagine the world without Cinemas? Anime? Designs? Animations? Sites? Pictures? It's kinda boring right? Well in CAS you can do, learn and see all of that. Not just that we can also be fluent in speaking in english, in writting beacause in MMA you can also become a good DIRECTOR. In this course I have experienced to be more creative in my projects, to STAND ON MY OWN, to have WIDER IMAGINATIONS. To continue having my SELF-CONFIDENCE. To learn being fluent in speaking in english. To be a POSITIVE thinker to remove NEGATIVE sides. And to pursue my DREAMS and GOALS in LIFE.

In CAS Department we are all gathered for our General Assembly, in that program they discussed all about the policies for our laboratory and borrowing things that we need like: DSLR's etc. We have also elected the officers for this department for us to be united and organize. This are JUST the BEGGINING that means there are more interesting things that could HAPPEN. I Hope that you have the TIME to know more about CAS and More about MY STORY.
